This letter is to advise prospective companies about my experience working with John Sugrue.
As Vice President of Rancho Santa Margarita Student Teacher Parent Organization (RSM STPO), one of my responsibilities was fundraising, for which I held several events throughout the school year. John, whose son was a student at the school, volunteered to be leader of our set-up team at the November Family Fun Night, one of our major fundraising events of the year.
At the time, John was working for Elite Productions and convinced the company to lend us props and decorations for the event. John planned the entire set-up, transported everything to our gym, organized and supervised a set-up team of 11 people, worked the event, and removed and returned the materials to Elite. The room was attractive, looked quite professional, and was instrumental in helping us exceed our financial goal for the event.
John is an energetic self-starter who required little guidance from me and made several suggestions for improvement. I would recommend John to any organization seeking to employ such an individual.
